BSW Sports stands for Black Swan Sports. The analogy of a black swan is often used in finance when describing an unprecedented event that no one expected. The whole world assumed that black swans did not exist, until suddenly they were discovered in Australia. In sports, the analogy of a black swan can be used when a team surprises everyone by winning a big title, despite being seen as having poor or no chances in general.

What we do

What we do here at Black Swan Sports, is that we are partnering with clubs in different sports to develop a complete theoretical foundation that involves everything from building the roster, valuing players, practicing, scouting opponents, optimizing line ups and of course how to take on games. To accomplish these challenges, we make use of self-developed statistical models. Our statistical modeling is the very core of our operations. From the statistical analysis we derive ideas and conclusions in all areas mentioned above that allow us to go from theory to practice through video analytics and other methods.

Simply put, we work tightly with our partner clubs to elevate the game by developing a comprehensive theoretical doctrine of how to approach the seasons. All in the pursuit of creating new sports related black swan events, where expectations are preceded.
